Aaliyah's debut album Age Ain't Nothin However A Number debuted in 1994. The singer was only 15 at when the album was released and it became Gold. R. Kelly heavily influenced this collaboration, and helped to bring the artist to the forefront. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland released Aaliyah's second album One In A Million. It featured If Your Girls Only Knew the top-selling single. With the release of this work Aaliyah gained international attention for her work as an R&B performer. Aaliyah appeared alongside famous martial artist Jet-Li Romeo Must Die (2000), an action and romance film. Joel Silver spotted her in an award show. In 2002 she had the opportunity to play the film vampire Queen of the Damned which was inspired by the Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels saw her as Zee and appeared as a character in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions that same year. Aarti Mann is an Indian American of the first generation who was born in Connecticut. Mann is a shortening of her marriage final name Mankad. Aarti is a combination of Aarti Majumdar as well as Aarti Munn for her professional names. She started her acting career with minor TV and film parts, however her fame grew during the middle 2000s. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her notable other works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) Commercials for her show have included prominent brands like Volvo. Her daughter is a resident of Los Angeles and is pursuing her acting.
