Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actor best recognized for her role on the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters, and Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' que te enamores. As a dancer and model Toubia has also had success in both fields. Born in Montreal, she's lived in Texas since her childhood and always had a blast performing. She was trained since early in various forms. When she was 15 years old, she began competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous when in 2008, she appeared as competing in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. In an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora In the episode, she portrayed the role of a receptionist. In 2015, she was in her first movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
